International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) is an international network of cereal scientists and technologists from around the globe. The Association has its headquarters in Vienna, Austria with members represented from all five continents. ICC addresses issues that contribute to improved food quality, food safety and food security.
In this webinar, arranged by ICC, you will learn more about how fibre concentrates can reduce the existing fiber gap in human nutrition especially for people who suffer from chronic dieseases such as for example coeliac disease.
Through the use of dietary fibre concentrates the food industry can face the growing numbers of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). With high quality fibre enriched and/or energy reduced convenience products known for their high acceptance in the market, this conceptual approach for a higher fibre consumption could be made available to a broader group of consumers.
