In our case the AOECS Standard for gluten-free foods.

SGS

Together with SGS we have developed the new AOECS Gluten-Free Addendum Audit Program. This program can be used alongside any GFSI food safety standard (such as BRCGS, IFS or FSSC 22000). It enables food business operators to easier make sure the production of gluten-free food is safe and measured against the same yardstick wherever in the world it is conducted. It also allows food business operators to minimize the number of performed audits at their production facilities.

BRCGS

The company was founded by retailers who wanted to harmonise food safety standards across the supply chain. Today BRCGS is globally recognised as one of the most used and rigorous third-party food safety certification schemes.

Together with BRCGS, we have created a combined gluten-free certification program for food business operators. Through that program, it is possible to receive a BRCGS food safety audit in combination with a gluten-free audit, and thus be eligible to become licence-holders of the Crossed Grain Trademark. This increases the possibility for consumers to find safe and reliable gluten-free products on the shelves of retail chains across Europe.
